My speakers are lonely and sad... (sigh)

I have a pair of these lovely little EAW FR159z tops:

They sound fairly stunning on their own for an inexpensive (< $2000) 2-way box, but for them to be happy and rock the house properly they need some close friends to play with, so...

I really want to find the matching FR250z subs:

They rarely show up on the usual "used" outlets... must be decent little boxes if everyone is hanging onto them, but I know a stupid-cheap killer screaming deal on a gently used pair (with riser poles) is waiting for me somewhere out there! Perhaps they are sleeping peacefully in your garage or storage locker under a tarp right now: in no danger of abuse, certainly, but neglected and in desperate need of a loving new home nonetheless.
I'm looking to adopt.

Does anyone in the AZ, CA, CO, NM, NV, TX, UT area have a set available cheap?
Bueller? Bueller? Anyone?

(and by "cheap" I mean bargain-basement blowout / fire-sale / charitable donation / tax write-off / giveaway cheap.  Thanks!)

Music from the ancient archives...

This song selection – presented in no particular order – is collected from a very small percentage of the countless live shows and private recording sessions I have had the privilege of participating in as a freelance audio engineer in the Metro Phoenix area from 1986-99.  The vast majority of the studio cuts were tracked in my own living room, and all the live performances are direct “off-the board” stereo mixes.

Many of the tracks here were initially salvaged from my shreddy twenty-year-old cassette backup copies, but I am currently digging through many hundreds of hours’ worth of the original digital master recordings from the Late 20th-Century vaults, and there will be much more new old music (and hopefully some much clearer copies of what’s already here) added in the near future.

The musical styles, production methods and quality of performance on these recordings vary greatly, so I don’t expect to please everyone with this, but there is probably a little something here for most of you to enjoy… if not, feel free to check back later.

 Thank you for listening!
